It's over, finally!

EXAMS ARE OVER! For me at least, I know the rest of the Sec 4 Express have 1 last paper to go while 403 are slacking. Good job there exam time table planners :D (whoever you are). This can only mean that only the 403 people, with the exception of that Biology freak Cyl3x need not go to school on Monday! Ok, this post is going to be relatively short, I really mean short, it will be over in a paragraph or 2. Basically, I'm posting about my thoughts about the exams and how I
think I will fare.

I'm going to do a run down on all the subjects and my personal comments about the paper, let's start off with.....

English - Comprehension was quite a disaster, I did not manage to complete my summary properly and some of the vocabulary words are confusing. The best I could hope for is sub 20+ marks. Composition, as mentioned in the post before this was quite ok, answered that public transport question. For the information sheet, I will lose marks in the format but I think I wrote well for content wise, no worries there.

Social Studies - I think it was manageable, I could hope for about 30+ marks for SS, the usefulness question was the only major problem I had as I kind of forgotten how to do the usefulness question. But I don't think this question alone will cause me to fail. So no worries there too.

Chinese - What can I say? As usual, my Chinese will be a total flop and there's no need for more explanation, next please!

Maths Paper 1 - God! One of the hardest paper I've seen. There are rumours going around that Class 402 has only 1 pass and 403 has only 5 passes. Holy shit, 1 people passed only? And to add on to the misery, less than 25% of the Sec 4E passed Paper 1 and I am definitely in the remaining 75% - without doubt! I did not even have time to read what was the last question about. And I left several blanks for the questions before. I hope I won't get an F9 grade for Paper 1, at least an E8 please....

Maths Paper 2 - It was much easier than Paper 1, that's for sure. But I don't know why most of my friends say that it is harder than Paper 1. Maybe questions on Algebra (my weakest topic) was relatively non - existent in Paper 2. I made some silly mistakes, like not reading the Bearing question properly. The question requires both the bearing and length to be given but I only gave the length. I do hope that Paper 2 will at least get a pass grade, but whether if Paper 2 can save my Paper 1, that's another story altogether.

Chemistry - It was easier than expected, except that as usual, those chemical equations and solution crap are the questions that I have major problems in. I should be able to pass Chem though.

Geography - I think I will do best for Geography this Mid Year exams. I think it was quite easy and a distinction should be within reach.

D&T - It was ok, not very well done, but enough was done to pass. Nothing much to say about this paper.

Physics - Was harder than expected, surprisingly! But still manageable.

POA - Paper 1 was ok, manageable, Paper 2 was a slight disaster as I wasted time in Section B doing an extra question when I'm not required to do so. Never mind, I'll take it as extra practice and I still manage to complete all my questions (including that extra question) in time. Balance Sheet was shit, could not balance, but as you all know, you can score marks even though your answer is wrong. Very unbelievable but true. The kind of marks you score is not like Maths either, where you get method marks even though your final answer is wrong. For POA, if your answer is wrong, but your previous question's number is the same as the current question, you will still get the mark. Now I know why so many people say POA is easy to get A1. But rest assured, I won't be able to get A1 for POA this time round, that's for sure!

NE Quiz - Argg! I came soooooo close to getting the top rank of a Master Builder. Instead, I got the rank of an expert builder because of my serious oversight of not building Changi Aiport. Whatever, I was very very surprised when that Bad Dog got the same rank as me. Nope, you have not seen wrongly, that stupid dog got an expert builder too. He must have copied from people, (which includes me by the way).

Conclusion - I think I will do quite averagely for the mid year exams. Maybe fail about 2 subjects?

In F1 news, Super Aguri has withdrawn from the F1 Championship due to non - payment by a major sponsor which left them in a US$50 Million debt. Now with only 20 cars left on the grid, the F1 race experience will not be the same anymore. But I'd rather Super Aguri leave than any other team leaving though.

Here are some car pictures that I spotted this 2 weeks.

There should be post exams celebrations going on. I should be planning a cycling trip to Ubin during the June Holidays. Anyway, that's not confirmed. This shall be all for this week's exam celebration post, I will be rushing to play my games. For those with exams still going on, good luck! For those who have finished, LET'S CELEBRATE!
