As you would have already guessed it, this post will be about my results in the 2008 O levels exam.
Well, what I can say is that i really, i mean really did not expect what I got. I was expected at best a L1R4 of 10-15 points, 10 points is being really optimistic as my real prelims was only 15 pnts (they made a mistake and put 12). The 2 A I was expecting was from D&T and Combined Humanities.
So i came to school and saw Gary Tan first. I was "Oh shit, I'm not talking to him". Then the next moment he said hi me and told me that he was very happy with my Combined Humanities marks and I guessed I scored and A1. (which I did)
At the hall, Loo Loo also said I have done well, so I was thinking, "hmm, I could have gotten a 12 or something". And then Cecilia showed the 'distinction club' members (people who have 4 A or above). I was stunned to see my name up there. I never expected myself to get 4 A, 2 being my optimistic target.
So I received my result and I can't believe I got 9 pnts for my L1R4! I was condemning people who gets single digit and goes to poly. Now I think people will condemn me instead =.=". My L1R5 was a reasonable 13.
I'm planning to go to Temasek Poly's Aviation and Mangement Services course which has a cut of point of 10 last year. So after deducting my CCA bonus points, I think my nett points shld be 8, which I hope is good enough for that course!
Ok, thats alot of talking and (maybe boasting), but such things don't come again and its ok to be ego abit, but I will not make 'ego' as my lifestyle. Ok, just for kicks, the new Ferrari F1 car named F60 is super hideously ugly, just take a look! BMW's F1 car is worse I tell you! Kids, get your blind folds on!
